Happy New Year Orchid Family!  We are proud to present the first show of our series, Singer/Songwriter Showcase.

Bio Racyne Parker:

A recent Top 10 Finalist in 93.3’s KTCL Hometown for the Holidays Contest, Denver-based singer-songwriter Racyne Parker draws inspiration from country, modern folk, indie rock, and pop influences, to deliver catchy lyrics, warm vocals, and a contemporary style that fits in well on playlists next to Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, and Miranda Lambert.

With her low-stakes and engaging performance style, Racyne is bound to include a song that you know, while also introducing new songs that you’re sure to love.

Her songs draw on her experiences with living in and leaving a small town, navigating uncertainty in love and life in her 20s, and finding joy in the little moments.

Bio: Daniella Katzir:

Daniella Katzir is an accomplished singer-songwriter, born in Israel and grew up soaking in the sounds of the Middle East. As a teenager, Katzir fell in love with the songwriting of Bob Dylan and other traditional American folk artists. This combination of influences colored her musical upbringing, and continues to surface in her singing and writing. 

   After 20 years of playing, Katzir is focused on a blend of claw-hammer and Piedmont style finger-picking, complemented by a variety of vocal approaches from gypsy-jazz inspired blues to Americana folk to East Coast funk and soul. A talented lyricist and musician, Katzir’s rhythmic authority on the guitar is solidified by years playing the drums. She is the former front-woman of the Boulder-based band Magnolia Row, and has shared the stage with many different nationally and internationally touring artists. 

Bio: Josh.O: Travel Through Time:

Accomplished and veteran DJ, Josh.O will be gracing the stage and taking the audience through a musical time machine.  Playing the best jams and taking us on a musical journey from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000’s and beyond​.  This is a fun event and the first of its kind at Orchid Denver!
